BBC Sport are looking for an Assistant Editor role to join their management team for Radio and Online sport.
The successful candidate will be charged with overseeing the production of content for BBC Sport. With BBC Sport’s young audience targets and evolving content mix, the person in this role will be responsible for making sure content published hits our strategic aims. In addition, a key part of this role will be duty editor shifts – both working with the assistant editor for online sports news to drive our output on weekdays and carrying out weekend shifts.
The position will require a strong collaborative approach to multi-platform working to help maximise content opportunities for our audiences, as well as strong line management skills to manage a team of staff.
