Assistant Producer (Short Form) @ BBC Sport


BBC Sport are looking for an Assistant Producer to join their Salford-based team.

The role’s responsibilities include:

BBC Sport has a team which makes video for BBC Sport online, social media accounts and YouTube. This role is in that team.

Forget what you think you know about how you think the BBC might approach content.  Take a look at the video at the top of this page on footballer Chelcee Grimes and you’ll see what we mean.

This is a vibrant, creative, digital-first team immersed in creating cutting edge content. From Instagram and Snapchat stories, impactful soundless Facebook and Twitter video, immersive mid-form Youtube content and creative material for the country’s biggest sports website, this is a team that experiments with our tone of voice.

In this team you will also be expected to make video out of BBC Sport’s biggest rights events, such as Wimbledon, the FA Cup and the Fifa Women’s World Cup. This could range from simple clips, to more creative edits to tell stories which get audiences engaged.
