Both teams started keeping possession of the ball comfortably and were playing a lot of combinations. The first chance of the game came in the 3rd minute when Alfa-Ruprecht and Jayden Heskey combined well down the right and forced a save from Finch in the Norwich City goal. The game started to open up for Man City as Alfa—Ruprecht and Maahovo fought on the city’s right flank.

First blood was drawn by the hosts city in the 12 Minute when Lawrence picked up the ball from Wilson-Esbrand 30 yards from goal he then danced past a couple of Norwich players and fired it near post.

As the hosts start growing in confidence from the goal Norwich start to set up a low block as  City continue dominating  possession.Although Norwich have limited possession they seem effective whilst moving the ball.Norwich have their first breakthrough when Oguwuru nicks the ball and Mundle Smith then has a shot which is saved 28 min in.

City continues to dominate the game with possession and as a result, has a lot of half chances.Norwich City seem to cling on and the half ends 1-0 to the Hosts Man City.

Emilio Lawrence took a bow after his first goal.

Half time Manchester City 1 – 0 Norwich City

Half time analysis: City dominating the first half of the game with fluid football, but Norwich are still in with a chance of competing as their limited chances seem deadly on the counter. Half time substitutes for both teams as Norwich made a change as Bridge was off for Sealey and Mahovo subbed off for Okwumo. City also made a change as Lawrence is off for Reigan Heskey who joins his brother Jaden on the pitch.

47 Mins in Reigan Heskey immediately becomes an Impact sub and scores after a short corner which Gray crosses a delicious cross to the back post for Heskey to tap home to make it 2-0 to the hosts.

In the 49 Min, we see City players grow in confidence and we start to see a bit more flair as Okeke has an acrobatic effort saved by Finch. Then in the 55 Minute, we see another breakthrough from City as Reigan Heskey receives the ball on the half turn and beats two players on the left-hand side then cuts in with his right and slots the ball in the far corner to make it  3-0.

Regan Heskey has taken the game by the scruff of its neck and in the 68 minutes he gets his hattrick off the bench a similar goal to his other ones where he shows flair and pace down the left-hand side who then cuts inside and shoots straight at the keeper but fortunately for Reigan Heskey the ball had found the back of the net which meant it was 3 for himself and 4 for City.Truly showed the goal-scoring ability that his father possessed.

Will Dixon rounds off the night by making  it 5 in the 90 Minutes as he fires it in the top corner from 5 yards out City comfortably dispatched the visitors throughout the game and the goals sum up why they are top of the league with the pure quality they have going forward and the composure they have at the back.
