Work Opportunities @ The Offside Rule

Writers

As we prepare for another new season at The Offside Rule (We Get It!), we are making big plans to ensure 2017/18 is the best season we’ve ever had where our online presence is concerned. Our Head of Online is currently working around the clock to bring the most interesting and unique content to our audience.

In order to do that we are expanding our writing team once again and are looking to get new members of our team in place for June 2017. We are looking in particular for writers who bring a bit of fun/wit to their writing and also for writers who have a good knowledge of football (soccer) across the pond in the USA, Canada and Mexico. We are also looking for someone with a good knowledge and passion for the English Football League to start with us immediately.

Graphic Designer

This is a small (but important) role for our plans moving forward as one of our new features for the summer will rely upon some nifty graphics – both still images and in GIF form. Anyone who has a good knowledge of coming up with their own graphics on Adobe Photoshop or InDesign and also a good knowledge of creating basic GIFs would be most welcome to our team moving forward.

Whichever role you apply for you’ll be working as part of an exciting, enthusiastic and passionate young team who alongside our presenters Kait Borsay, Lynsey Hooper, Hayley McQueen and Mina Rzouki, ensure the The Offside Rule never stops growing. You’ll work closely with the website team and the rest of the writing squad, ensuring the website continues to go from strength to strength.

So, if you know your football, want to be part of an ever-evolving brand and have a keen interest in football, get in touch with us at offsiderulepod@gmail.com or use the contact form on the website.

Please take into account all vacancies on their website are voluntary
