Multi-Platform Football Producer @ BBC Sport


This Football Producer role is based in MediaCity, Salford and all applications must be submitted by 2nd January, 2019.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

To deliver football content for a range of commissioning producers and editors across BBC Sport to the highest possible editorial and production standards. Working with others to conceive, generate and develop ideas and treatments of the highest possible quality which work for specific platforms, for example digital video for online and social media.

You will take editorial responsibility for content and ensure compliance processes are understood and adhered to. Playing an active role in promoting content and ideas with other BBC genres and non-Sport outputs, and with marketing and communications.

To liaise with output editors and planners and organise imaginative and economical ways to deliver coverage of stories or events including logistics and staffing and/or sharing resources with other BBC areas.

Co-ordination and co-operation with internal stakeholders from outside of sport, developing relationships with governing bodies, ensuring the level of cooperation needed to maximise output.

Maintaining and developing a variety of contacts among sports governing bodies and PR agencies.
