BBC News England Digital Video Producer and Journalist Simone Stewart shared her thoughts and experiences in the sports media industry with BCOMS Samuel Ogun.
Simone stressed the importance of getting experience in the industry, and told Sam how she went about gaining it, through BBC schemes and University opportunities.
Simone also explained that persistence was vital when trying to get into the sports media industry, and also taking confidence from the progress of BAME role models in the industry for inspiration.
