BCOMS MARKS BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2024

Today marks the beginning of Black History Month, a powerful reminder of the contributions of Black people to society.

At BCOMS (Black Collective of Media in Sport), we stay committed to promoting inclusion and diversity within the sports media industry.

As our founder, Leon Mann, states: “We can use Black History Month to build serious plans that genuinely accelerate inclusion and diversity.”

This month is not just a celebration, but an opportunity for reflection and action in our industry. BCOMS was created to tackle the lack of Black representation in sports media.

While progress has been made, the work is far from done. Together with the industry, we must set ambitious goals and create lasting change.
