BBC are looking for a broadcast assistant who will work with the Live team by curating the best content from the BBC’s live sport output across all platforms and the best of social media. They assist in the preparation of stories and match templates, and the ownership and moderation of blogs from some of BBC Sport’s biggest hitters.

The Ideal Candidate

Our Broadcast Assistant must have valid experience of using content management systems for the production of web pages and streams. An excellent knowledge of sport at a national and international level would be an advantage in this role too as would experience of working in a busy newsroom, gallery or live environment.

All the above skills should be combined with high attention to detail, accurate proof-reading skills and excellent spelling and grammar.
