CHELSEA CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP WITH BCOMS


Offering aspiring sports journalists from under-represented backgrounds access to journalism qualifications

After the continued success of the bursary programme Chelsea Foundation and BCOMS are offering another opportunity for 2 young aspiring journalists to access funding to complete the fast-track NCTJ course with News Associates in Twickenham starting in February 2026. https://newsassociates.co.uk/

The bursary will completely cover the cost of the qualifications as well as offering £5000 contribution towards travel and living costs.

Applicants will be asked to submit a written, audio or video presentation on what the bursary would mean for them and why diversity within the sports media is important.
