Communications Officer @ British Cycling

Reporting to the regional board, the regional workgroups should comprise of the relevant regional board discipline officer, plus an appropriate number of elected personnes with responsibility for the tactical direction and day to day running of the regional discipline, ensuring such is effectively run & well-governed.

Role and Responsibilities:

• To compose and send a single page bi-weekly update on the region’s activity/opportunities to the regional mailing list (Approx. 26 hours)
• To support and build the profile of the region’s social media accounts, ensuring connectivity to the region’s membership. (Approx. 14 hours)
• Ensure representation of all disciplines/age groups across the region’s communication channels by developing good relationships with the discipline workgroups
• To maintain professionalism in all posts/ communications to members

This role is for one year and you will be paid 40 hours at £10 p.h. plus travel expenses.
