Do you want to be the TV face for one of Europe’s biggest sport events? Are you witty and smart, full of creative ideas for short video clips, with a good grasp of what works in TV sports coverage and without any fear of approaching some of handball’s biggest stars?
Are you team player, willing to lift the coverage of Europe’s most electrifying team sport to the next level?
The European Handball Federation is looking for a presenter, working on a freelance basis, as the face of its coverage at its flagship national team events, the Men’s and Women’s EHF EURO.
You will be the EHF host for the entire championship and the videos you present will be shown on the EHF’s channels such as ehfTV, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.
The EHF EUROs take place every two years with the Men’s EHF EURO being played in January in even years and the Women’s EHF EURO being played in December in even years.
The next events will take place in January 2018, Men’s EHF EURO in Croatia, and December 2018, Women’s EHF EURO in France.
Your profile
You have presenting experience or you are looking to make your first steps in the world of TV. You have a strong interest in sport and you are looking for a new challenge.
You are a self-confident, team-playing and outgoing person that is full of ideas and bursts of creativity. You have a good idea how sport stories can be visualised and optimised for a social media audience.
You are a charismatic person who can easily talk to anyone, the fan in the tribune or the player in the mixed zone. You are funny and serious on camera at the same time and you can easily switch between the two as the situation requires.
Working under pressure does not stress you and while you are self-driven, you are nevertheless a team player, willing to work as part of one of the largest media operations in handball and keen on portraying the sport and the people who drive it.
Fluent English is essential and the ability to speak other European languages would be a definite advantage

Applications should be made in writing in English, with a current CV and a covering letter setting out why you would like to apply for the position of the presenter.
Applications should also include links to / demos of sport programmes, news shows, documentaries, clips or similar that showcase previous presenting experience. You can also send an individual video introducing yourself.
