Football Foundation are looking for someone with a communications background to join their already established communications team.

 

Contract Type: Full-Time

Based: Football Foundation offices, London

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (DoE)

Closing Date for application: Sunday 8th April

Interview Date: w/c 23rd April

 

About the Football Foundation

Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the World. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country.

The role

The Media & Publications Officer will be responsible for generating substantial coverage positive in the national and other key media, as well as extending the Foundation’s network of supportive journalists. They will lead on publicising some of the Foundation’s smaller schemes, as well as our core facility development programme. The Media & Publications Officer will manage negative press issues when required. They will also play a central role in the writing and production of publications, including the Foundation’s magazine ONSIDE and annual reviews. They will also help coordinate proactive publicity initiatives with our Ambassadors.
