Two new exciting opportunities have become available at the Bristol Post in our sports department. We are looking for skilled sports writers to help us build our sport audience around Bristol Rovers and Bristol City with particular emphasis on video.

You:

We are looking for an individual who has Trinity Mirror or equivalent journalist qualification (or relevant time-served experience). You will need to be a digital native and creative journalist with a deep understanding of the value of video and social media.

You will understand the importance of video in sport content. You will need to be comfortable putting your opinions across in front of a camera as well as creating and curating video content.

You will have an innovative approach to content-gathering and you will write the stories the fans want to read by using your own love of the footballing world.

We are looking for candidates with superb video and social media skills, excellent online storytelling techniques and a deep understanding of how to make content engaging to digital audiences.

Candidates will need to demonstrate an exceptional track record in digital publishing and understanding of what makes online football content successful.
