British Horse Authority are looking a Head of Industry Training and Retention. They are responsible for co-ordination, oversight, delivery and further development of British Racing’s strategy in respect of its people, with a focus on the full range of training provision within the sport and boosting retention rates at all levels of the sport – but with a particular emphasis on stable staff – through enhanced welfare provision and modern and flexible working practices. As well as having day-to-day responsibility for the Industry People and Development team within the BHA, there will be considerable engagement with the full range of training providers and delivery partners, and the role holder will provide high-level secretariat to the quarterly Programme Board, which comprises all relevant parties.
