LDN Filmmakers Programme Open

LDN Filmmakers – Applications now open

City Hall has partnered with DCM to launch LDN Filmmakers – providing young people with a platform to tell their story on the big screen.

Working with industry-leading mentors, participants will learn how to write, direct and produce their own content. They’ll be encouraged to share their stories of life in London; perspectives and narratives that might otherwise be overlooked or misrepresented by mainstream media.

DCM will then screen these stories across cinemas city-wide. What’s a more fitting platform for the future of our city, after all, than the big screen?

The first workshop is aimed at 15 -18 year olds and will run over half term (21-26 October). The second workshop is aimed at 19-22 year-olds and will run the following week (28 Oct – 1 Nov) (+5 Nov).

Know a young person who’d be interested? Nominate them now by completing the online application form. Information on how to apply can be found in the attached ‘How-to’ guide.

The closing date for applications is Monday 14 October at 9AM.
