Made in Chelsea: Style, Culture and Future

Newest edition: Liam Rosenior

Chelsea is stepping into the new year with a clean slate. The latest addition to SW6 is Liam James Rosenior. Born into a footballing family, shaped by over two decades as a professional across the English leagues, and refined through coaching spells at Derby, Hull City and Strasbourg.

The London-born manager is ready to go with confidence and ambition. “The potential for this club, and for this group, is limitless. And I won’t limit it.” Rosenior is showing faith in Chelsea’s talent pool, emphasising the belief in the squad’s quality and future.

Built for Now — Designed for the Future

The squad is packed with exciting quality and balance: Moisés Caicedo has become a dominant presence in midfield, Cole Palmer continues to shine as a creative leader and reliable goal threat, while young talents such as Malo Gusto, Benoît Badiashile and Estêvão Willian highlight the club’s successful investment for the future.

With a youthful core gaining experience and confidence, Chelsea’s squad reflects a team on the rise, combining energy, depth and growing consistency, and reinforcing optimism that the club is building towards sustained success at the highest level for years to come.

Estêvão Willian: The Next Global Star in Blue

A player to be at the forefront of their projected success is Brazilian teenage sensation and Chelsea’s number 41, Estêvão Willian. Estêvão is one of the most talked-about young talents in world football. The winger developed through the youth systems at Cruzeiro and Palmeiras, where his dazzling dribbling and goal threat earned him the nickname “Messinho”

Chelsea secured his signature after a £29million deal, which was agreed in 2024; he officially joined the Blues in the summer of 2025 following his 18th birthday. Estêvão made an impact at Stamford Bridge, becoming the youngest Chelsea player to register a Premier League assist and scoring crucial goals, including a dramatic late winner against Liverpool.

Following his immediate success, data companies have suggested that his value is at £100m, signalling that he is a star in the making, with only Lamine Yamal ahead of him as a teenager.

Previous manager Enzo Maresca was also confident Estevao has a bright future too, saying: ‘You can see that absolutely, he is a top talent, again we are helping to adapt and give him the right minutes – in the next five years for this club he will be a top top player.’

From Academy Roots to SW6 Runways – Full-Circle Moment for Maxime Touzé

Off the pitch, the Blues are making moves in the fashion space. With designer Maxime Touzé (Maxime Black) being at the forefront of conversation following the players’ arrival in his designed arrival fit ahead of the top of the table clash against Arsenal last month.

Maxime captured the London silhouette impressively, blending the iconic London landmark, the ‘Nike Tech Fleece’ with added versatility and comfort, creating the bespoke ‘Boreas Tech’ with his team. It was only right that Maxime was the one to deliver this look with his ex-academy player background as well as his Chelsea roots. It’s fair to say he delivered, and the arrival in SW6 was a full-circle moment for his journey from football to fashion.

How High Can the Blues Go?

A realistic finish for Chelsea this season would be just inside the top four. This is predicted by analytics and pundits who believe the feat is achievable. Micah Richards believes three teams are ‘better’ than Chelsea and challenging for the top four is a ‘realistic target’ for coach Rosenior.

For Rosenior, the remaining fixtures are crucial to gain trust with his fans and to overcome recent inconsistency, which will signal that the project and coaching direction are working. This gives him clarity going into the following season.
