On Saturday, February 17, 2024, I received an invitation to step into the vibrant world of the LFC TV Studio, granting me an exclusive glimpse into the intricate workings of television production.
As a dedicated Liverpool fan since my youth, the experience was surreal. Having grown up watching LFC TV, being present behind the scenes was a dream come true. The day began with my introduction to the dedicated team on set as they revealed the meticulous efforts that unfolded on and off the visible screen.
I delved into the ins and outs of GFX, Technical Operations, Commentary, and Editing, among other areas, and found everyone within the team to be incredibly welcoming. Notably, I found myself not only sharing my sports journey thus far but also absorbing their enthusiasm for my experiences.
During the coverage of the Brentford vs Liverpool match, I assisted the team throughout the day, engaging in enlightening conversations about the demanding nature of live TV production.
The day was more than just a networking opportunity; it was a chance to forge meaningful connections with the talented individuals at LFC TV. I left not only with contacts but also with invaluable skills and knowledge, generously shared by those at the pinnacle of their profession.
