Online Producer Vacancy – Sport @ ITV (London)

Deadline: 6 March 2017

Salary: Competitive

ITV is the biggest commercial television network in the UK. Behind every famous face, there are hundreds of others, all doing their bit to make things happen. We love telly, we’re passionate about content and most importantly we understand our audiences. As a growing international company, we’re commercially minded and have a global focus. We’re all about pushing the boundaries and being innovative.

ITV.com has a superb opportunity for a Digital producer to join The Sport Team. As part of ITV’s digital studio, you will produce fresh and engaging multimedia content for ITV’s websites and social media channels, in support of ITV Sport’s broadcast coverage. Sport will be your focus, but you may occasionally be asked to work in other areas of ITV Online, including News and Entertainment.

As a Digital Producer you will have track record producing top-class sport content. You will have sound editorial judgement and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Video-editing skills are essential, preferably experience of using Premiere Pro. Expertise in social media – content, trends, best practice is also essential, as much of our content is produced natively for Twitter and Facebook.

A sound working knowledge of ITV Sport’s portfolio, from international football to horse racing, would also be useful but not essential.

You will have excellent communication skills and must feel comfortable working in a small team. Some knowledge of media law and compliance issues would also be helpful.

The role requires someone who is prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends, and to travel abroad to sporting events with the ITV Sport Team.
