The primary purpose of the role is to be accountable for the design and management of our onsite technical operations for Major events operations such as, Commonwealth Games, summer and winter Olympics, European championships and Football World Cups, etc. as the need arises. This involves a thorough understanding of Sport’s complex production workflows and translating these to both the design and operation of temporary broadcast systems, working with outside companies and often freelance staff, to deliver facilities to support all platforms, TV, online and digital, Radio etc. The systems and workflows have to tie the onsite operations into the UK operations and delivery to playout, or Media city operations.
