PERFORM GROUP – SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT PRODUCER

The Role

We are looking for a driven individual to work in our growing rugby production department. Specializing in creating short form content for Premiership Rugby digital and social media platforms, the applicant will have an in depth knowledge of social media and the demographic draw of each platform.

 

A hands-on approach to the role is a must which will involve planning, researching, creating and editing content. The right candidate must possess a strong knowledge of rugby union and its rules, a thorough practical understanding of Avid and solid, fast turnaround editing skills with a creative flair.

 

You will be responsible for daily delivery of digital content to Premiership Rugby platforms and must have great organisational skills to ensure that daily deadlines are met without exception.

 

Working days will predominantly be Thursday to Monday inclusive during the season, with some free weekends when there is no Premiership Rugby or Anglo Welsh Cup.

 

As part of a fast growing company you will have a proactive approach to all elements of the work, and will want to be part of an enthusiastic team that are constantly striving to improve and develop, both individually and as a company. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
Creating digital content for Premiership Rugby digital platforms
Planning, researching and developing content for creative briefs
Avid Editing content to creative briefs
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
A thorough understanding of the production and post-production environments.
An in depth knowledge of creating engaging content for social media platforms
Strong Avid editing skills.
Demonstrable experience of creating content for digital and social media platforms.
To remain fully aware of trends in digital and social media and how they can be turned into creative ideas
Good knowledge of rugby union and the English Premiership
Candidates invited for interview will be asked to present creative ideas and a 7 day content plan.
