Football Foundation is looking for someone who has exceptional written skills, including the ability to quickly turnaround concise, engaging copy to work as their projects publicity officer.

 

Contract Type: Full-Time

Based: Football Foundation Office, London

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (DoE)

About the Football Foundation

Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the World. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country.

The role

The Project Publicity Officer will work closely with our applicants, arranging official events, and maximising media coverage by helping to secure the attendance of public figures and selling-in well-crafted press releases. They will manage our events calendar and produce media briefings, consulting with colleagues as necessary. They will also oversee the delivery of branded t-shirts, training bibs and other event collateral in advance of the events.

The Project Publicity Officer will develop contacts with key journalists and media organisations, and help avert or minimise negative media coverage through effective crisis communications. They will also help ensure the Foundation provides a consultancy-level service to its Funding Partners, including providing key information to them upon request.
