Reach Society’s 6th Free Career Conference


Reach Society will be hosting their 6th free Careers Conference on Tuesday 4th April 2017. The conference is open to anyone age 14+ – including undergraduates and graduates (Those under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult). It will take place between10am and 4pm at the Royal National Hotel, 38-51 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0DG.

 

There will be exhibits from organisations such as KPMG, Lloyds Bank, Transport for London, RAF, EDF, Energy, Thames Water, Brunel University and King’s College London, including information about university scholarships. Additionally, there will be a cohort of over 60 black professionals from a wide range of careers, from engineering, law, science, business, media, finance and beyond, providing practical advice on the pathways of success in their chosen profession; all with the aim to encourage motivate and inspire.

Additionally, throughout the day there will be FREE workshops involving CV writing, interview skills, the UCAS process and how to write a good personal statement and the importance of STEM subjects. We will also be running a workshop specifically for women called The Michelle Obama Factor.
