Role Responsibility

The role’s main purpose is to support the streamlined recruitment and HR process across the department.  You will provide assistance to the Head of Talent, managing her diary and assisting with other administrative tasks where necessary.  You will provide administrative support to the Talent Team, as well as providing a key link with the editors and production managers in ensuring new joiners, movers and leavers are appropriately set up and activated or deactivated on the BBC’s systems.

The Ideal Candidate

With an existing knowledge of BBC systems, or previous administrative experience within the Television or Talent/Resourcing/HR industries, you will have a willingness to learn and have the flexibility to work across a large busy department that produces a mix of output for all genres.  You will have excellent administrative skills and be used to working with confidential or sensitive information with an excellent attention to detail.  An understanding of BBC Sport and programme making is desirable.  Experience in a Personal Assistant role is desirable as part of the role is to take minutes, book travel and accommodation and previous experience of diary management is essential.  ​
