Senior Assistant Producer @ Golfing World

IMG are looking for a Senior Assistant Producer whom will be responsible for filming and editing feature content for Golfing World and other programme within the department.

Key Accountabilities

  • Filming own footage on various cameras including Sony FS7 and A7S
  • Editing 2-10 minute features on Adobe Premiere
  • Developing skills of junior members of the AP team
  • Covering the producer in the show edit – supervising daily show, subbing scripts etc
  • Planning and researching stories and shoots around the world
  • May require working for corporate/commercial clients on funded projects
  • Occasional studio and multi-camera shoots – directing or leading a preditor team

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent self editing skills (Premiere Pro)
  • Excellent self-shooting skills, particularly using the Sony FS7 camera
  • Professional TV production experience as a self-shooting AP
  • Strong knowledge of global sport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Interest in and knowledge of professional golf desirable
  • Experience filming abroad – working alone and with colleagues desirable
  • Experience supervising the production and delivery of TV programmes desirable
