talkSPORT is looking for a Social Media Manager. As social media manager, you will need to be able to produce sharply-written, engaging posts across their channels, promoting sports news, feature and video content to a wide audience online.

Day to day you will: 

  • Edit and maintain talkSPORT’s social media channels to a high standard
  • Work directly with the editorial team to share breaking news
  • Ensure the digital team has sufficient insight to produce social media-friendly stories
  • Encourage debate and help create a talkSPORT community across our networks
  • Come up with creative ways to bring in new audiences
  • Work flexibly, including weekend and late shifts, to cover live sport

What they’re looking for from you:

  • Passion for sport and football in particular
  • Some experience working in sports media
  • Ability to edit pictures quickly
  • Confident working in a fast-moving environment
  • Have a good understanding of how sports fans consume social media content
