Sports Desk Internship


We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated intern to join the Sports team. You will need to have good sports knowledge, an interest in and understanding of digital sites and publishing, and a can-do helpful attitude to tasks that spontaneously arise during the day. 
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:  
 
? An enthusiasm for and knowledge of sports
? Good news sense and the ability to develop and execute ways to engage our audience
? Strong writing and time management skills
? A good understanding of online publishing and social media
? An understanding of the Telegraph’s reputation and readership
? Efficiency, organisation, motivation, initiative
? Works to high standards
 
Some of the regular tasks and responsibilities will include:
 
? Writing and producing Sports content
? Telling stories in digital formats
? Helping create interesting supplementary content for articles
? Undertaking some reporting duties outside the office
