At Catena, we are an innovative company, with big ambitions, and due to our continuous growth, we are now looking for a passionate Sports Journalist to join our team in London. In this role, you will be working alongside different departments and across different platforms.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

As Sports Journalist you will be providing  engaging content across a number of platforms and will be focusing mainly on football and other sports when required. You will be allocated match previews, feature articles and more to ensure our sites, including www.footballtips.com, have top quality, unique content.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Create and publishing unique daily football content
  • Work closely with Football Editor & Head of Football Publishing on content plans
  • Assist and contribute to the regular video content on our social channels
  • Contribute to the various social media platforms, ensuring maximum exposure and reach

TO DO IT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Significant football knowledge, particularly in the English Premier League, is essential
  • Trained in Journalism to a degree level is necessary, or a proven portfolio of work
  • Extremely organized, punctual and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Vast amount of experience in a similar role – writing, editing and distributing unique content
  • Experience in broadcast journalism & video editing is desirable
  • Experience in the distribution of content through social media channels effectively
