Trainee Engineer @ IMG


 

Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, the Trainee Engineer will be responsible for supporting the engineering operations and assisting the engineering team to provide high levels of service.

 

Contract type: Fixed term – 12 months

Location: London, Stockley Park

Salary: Competitive

 

Key responsibilities will include undertaking the engineering departments Administration including but not exclusory i.e. generating Vendor PO`s, maintaining the company asset register and Shipping and returns; maintain and repair equipment as directed by a supervisor; advise on the best solutions for the technical issues facing IMG studios clients and to help ensure the Engineering section is organised and provides effective solutions as required.

 

Applicants must have a good understanding of TV technical principles and production techniques; are willing and eager to learn about broadcast equipment; IT literate with good IP knowledge and have developed IT skills. A degree or equivalent in a technical or broadcasting engineering subject would be highly advantageous.
